Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. We invite you to consider the many opportunities to get involved:

Single-day volunteering: Join a Book Day to sort and pack donated books for children across Canada.
Volunteer tutoring: Become a literacy tutor and help children, youth, or adults gain essential skills.
Corporate Homework Club: Host a club where employees tutor local students in a supportive corporate environment.
Share expertise: Support projects like app development to advance literacy tools.

Or participate in the bookshelf Campaign

Invite your colleagues, clients, or community to make a difference—one book at a time!

From September to November, help us raise funds for children's literacy programs. For every $25 donation, a child receives learning materials and literacy support. Donors get a charitable tax receipt and a book decal to personalize and add to your organization's bookshelf display.

It’s simple:

Register your company before August 15th and Fill a Bookshelf.
Help us raise funds from September to November.*
Encourage your colleagues to donate. Every $25 donation gives a child learning materials and support. All donors receive a charitable tax receipt.
Give the donor a book decal for each $25 gift. Have them write their name on it and stick it on the decal bookshelf, which you can post on a wall in your office.

Cash donations? No problem—convert them into a cheque or online donation.
