United for Literacy is a Canadian organization that believes that literacy changes lives. Each year, over 30,000 children, youth, and adults in 191 urban, rural, and remote places across Canada (including over 90 Indigenous communities) gain access to reading, writing, math, basic skills, and other programs, in person and online, supported by up to 1,600 trained volunteer tutors. United for Literacy programs are free for users, thanks to our generous donors.
