We work together with over 500 partners each year to provide innovative literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills support for under-represented groups in Canada. 

Our programs reach nearly 30,000 children, youth, and adults in over 200 communities each year. These programs are free, high-impact, adaptable, and are delivered by community hubs and networks across the country.

At United for Literacy, we believe literacy is a fundamental right that impacts every aspect of our lives. The ability to read, write, and do math profoundly influences our well-being. Each year, we host a national forum to examine the critical role of literacy in various facets of life, featuring different topics such as literacy's impact on AI, civic engagement, and mental health. Our panel of specialists and experts discuss the challenges faced by individuals, employers, and communities, and explore how literacy can help overcome these challenges.
