New Directions is a free program that is open to adults (19 years old and over) in Ontario who want to earn their General Education Development (GED) certificate. Most colleges and employers accept the GED as the equal of a high school diploma. Graduates enjoy increased earnings, improved job security, and enhanced career opportunities.
An experienced instructor leads online classes that support the learner's goals. Our GED preparation program offers flexibility and allows you to customize your learning experience. You will be free to choose how often you meet with your instructor. You can also pick the days and times that best fit your schedule.
Workshops are also offered throughout the year. Topics relate to employment, financial literacy, and career and education planning.
